Jill (seen performing for the 2015 Bing Lee Christmas Party at Daltone House, above left) is a talented bellydancer in Sydney well known for her ability to create unique and vibrant shows for corporate events, themed nights, weddings, private functions, birthday celebrations etc. Jill’s shows can also be a roving style where she interacts with the audience for photo opportunities and creating the party atmosphere.
Jill is described as a fun and entertaining dancer with extraordinary belly rolling ability. She is an interactive entertainer who involves the audience to make her shows an unforgettable experience for everyone. Jill uses a number of props to mesmerise her audience such as Turkish swords, Isis Wings, silk fan veils, canes, zills and veils.
Jill has worked for a number of Entertainment businesses including Bellydance Harem (current), Amera’s Palace and Bellacize (2012) and is the principal dancer and founder of the Bellyfit Dance School established 4 years ago.
Jill was a finalist in the Australia Wide Bellydance Star Awards Competition held in Sydney in 2010 in both the soloist and troupe sections and was the choreographer of the Troupe ensemble who placed first in the competition.
Jill directed and performed in the Dance, Drums and Drama Show held in Sydney in 2010 raising money for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. This involved an audience of over 200, approximately 50 performers (amateur and professional) and coordination of all aspects of the show including sound, lighting, photographers, videographers and volunteers.
Jill performed at the 24th Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival 2013 and 2014 Concerts “featuring Australia’s top dancers in a theatre setting”.
Jill continues to perfect her dancing (bellydance, jazz, contemporary, ballet) and acrobatics through regular private classes with Sydney’s top teachers.
All of her gorgeous bellydance costumes are designed and imported from Egypt and come in a range of colours with much sparkle.
